My Controls is available to modify, and personalise your forum experience.

Here is a tutorial to better understand each section.

Your Control Panel: This is the homepage of My Controls. Here you can find a quick account summary, showing your registered email address, total post count, registery date, average post count and how many personal messages you have, with available space left.

Also there is a handy note pad, you can add any quotes, or reminder notes, just incase you want to remind yourself, or use a quote in future visits.

Down the left hand side of the welcome page you have a selection of links:

Messenger

Compose New message: A quick way to send a personal message to another forum member.

Go to inbox: Will show how many personal messages (pms) you have received and sent.

Empty PM Folders: A quick way to delete all messages.

Edit storage folders: Add and remove folders, to sort your personal messages.

PM Buddies/Block List: Shows who has been added to your buddy list, and who you have blocked from sending pms to yourself.

Archived Messages: If your inbox is nearly full you can save certain pms to a file and send them to your email address.

Saved/Unsent Messages: Messages you have saved to send later

Message Tracker: Keep track of who you have sent messages to, iand if they have been read. You need to select to track pms when you send them, for this option to work.

Subscriptions

View Topics: Shows your subscriped topics (You can subscribe to topics on the selected topic page)

View Forums: Shows your subscribed forums

Personal Profile

Edit Profile Info: Allows you to change your custome status, if you have exceeded 500 posts, and change your selected email address (you will need to verify it by email, and will be changed to verifying until you have done). You can also add where you live, and interests for other members to see.

Edit Avator Settings: Explained in: FAQ: Avator Rules

Change Personal Photo: ption not enabled at present.

Options

Email Settings: A list of options to personalise emails sent from this board, or whether you want to allow/disallow users to see your email address.

Board Settings: Here you can change the forum time to fit your local time by selecting from the drop down box. There is alos a list of functions to bchange display settings for forums and topics.

Skins and Languages: Here you can change the skin for the forum, this gives the forum a better look, and there are 4 skins to chose from, so pick which one you like. Also there is only one language available on this forum, as we are UK Tranceaddict.

Change Email Address: If your email address changes, you can modify it here, you will need to verify the change via an email sent to the new email address, and you will be changed to verifying until you have.

Change Password: If your password has been found out, or you decide you want to change it, you can here. If you forget your password, you can get it sent to your email address on the login page.
