Mixing 8,25
Digital mixes have to be flawless and they usually are, although they could be a bit longer at times. Vinyl mixes are quite alright as well.

Playlist 8
No artist is in the playlist twice, bootleg is interesting (although not entirely successful imo).

Structure 8,0
Proggy beginning, gradually more uplifting. There's a good sense of direction in the set

Originality 7,75
Bootleg adds to originality. Well-known tracks, but difficult to make any other mix anyway. Can't help but being reminded of ASOT during this set though.

Overall Score 8,0

Don't edit my posts please, Black Hole... PM people first the next time.

M2W Feedback

Tracklist = 6 - Great tracks let down by one really nasty out of key bootleg IMO

Mixing = 9 - Great mixing nearly perfect

Build up = 9 - Gotta stress how much that bootleg cost ya! But you really came home In this section!

Originality = 8 1/2 - Get a 1/2 bonus point from me for the bootleg out of a posible two (I been giving everyone flat eights for originality) = Its hard to be original and not play crap!

Score 8.125 That Bootleg cost you mucka = what a shame, deffo talent in the house cool.gif

-Tracklist: [7] Nice Tracklist, however you really butchered Brian Eno & Probspot's track no offense, that's what hurt your mix.

-Mixing/Technique: [8] Great mixing, enjoyed it evry much.

-Build-Up/Structure: [8] Great Build-Up besides the bootleg that just kinda hurt my ears/confused me. But everything from there on is sweet!!!

-Originality: [9] Your own bootleg was a nice idea for the contest, the only problem is that it wasn't an attractive acoustical working. The rest was mint. Good job.

-OVERALL [8] Get rid of that bootleg and you were at a 8.3.
Tommy
curious about your set, the first track is made by u i guess???

ok i got it now a reamake hehe poster_stupid.gif
feedback will follow

tracklist: 7

nice idea to start with a remake and i must say i really like it!!! dunno why the others dont....without it it would have just been a 5 but with it a 7!!!quit a lot armin tunes but your special idea about the remake highers your score!!!
i mean the traxx are real quality and fit together!!!

mixing: 7

your style is my style we got really something together!!! long transitions are something sooo nice!!! sometimes the equlizer work was a bit rude like after white room prolly only a little mistake wink.gif same at 49 in a solid mix!

build up: 7

nice intro, u got the points for a special idea!!! wub.gif even if its stolen laugh.gif tongue.gif
well the traxx fit nice together except the RIDE track, also im missing a change in your set but thats prolly only my personal taste the summer track is very nice as finisher but doesnt has a good "outro" u should have made as well a little remake of some strings as finish!! wink.gif

original: 6

sorry but its too much ASOT and only because of your nice idea with the remake did u got 6 and not 4,5 points like others

overall: 6,75

nice mix really enjoyed it but armin style again a bit more own innovation plz wink.gif
without the ASOT traxx i could have gave ya a 9 or 10!!! but again your remake is soo nice!!!!
Black-Hole
Tracklist: 7,5

Nice standard tracks with an original bootleg, nice to add the older Velvet moods track.

Mixing: 8

Nice mixing skills with smooth crossovers. Nothing more to add.

Build-up/structure: 6

From slow to fast, would have changed some tracks personally, especially the Luke Chable and Abena tracks.

Originality: 7,5

The bootleg gives a positive twist to this score. The mix itself is just stnadard, not bad but nothing special as well.

Average: 7,25

Hey Ronz...here's the review... .

Tracklist: 8/10
The tracks here are pretty good...most of them are known(Except the bootleg!!) and they fit in the theme of the set pretty much.

Mixing/technique: 8.75/10
Excellent mixing...the transitions were pretty good... .

Build-up and structure: 7.5/10
All in all...the build up was good...but I found myself distracted with the Luke Chable tune...and right after that tune...u kinda "increased the pace" of the set again, made it more uplifting...while with the luke chable tune...I was getting ready for a more progressive second half an hour!!

Originality: 7.5/10
Not too many unknown mixes...most of the tunes here getting played in uplifting sets alot..though I do give u credit for the bootleg with Brian Eno!!

Overall: 7.9/10

Good luck with the comp... smile.gif

Cheers
