Great mix DJ Diamond!! Excelent tracklist, great track order, and great mixing. It's a shame nobody else has rated this mix yet.



Tracklist: [9] Awesome! I play all of these tunes on a regular basis....liked every one!!

Mixing: [9.5] The mixes were all solid. Great beatmatching skills....especially when your CD turntables are only accurate to .1 I really liked the first mix.......the timing on the vocals was perfect.

Build-up: [9] Unlike my mix.....you started off fairly slow and slowly built up to some great energy. Good track order.

Originality [8] This is a tough catagory. Althouh I like this mix...it wasn't the most original set I've heard. It's hard to be original when creating a build-up with trance. If you try to throw in some crazy song......it ruins the flow of the set.



Overall [8.875] Very good set..........definately could be the winner.

Tracklist: [9.5] Amazing List. I love all the tracks no doubt, great mental flow estabished. Before you even listen to the set you know it's gonna be sweet.

Mixing/Technique [9] On KEY! I mean you nailed it, tehonly thing is some mixes are rushed. Nevertheless you did an amazing job.

Build-up/Structure [10] Nailed It. All I can say.

Originality [9.5] Amazing Never heard it before and this is without a doubt my style. Give me more Diamond!

OVERALL [9.5] This might win it for the vinyl. Best I've heard so far.

nice traxx very cool play them a lot as well at clubs especially as warm up or finisher!! bit too much ASOT though but 12 traxx are a good variety

mixing:5,5

uhm...... its weak, beatmatching is good but no equlizer work
especially the first transition, the echo hurts your set, the positions are ok and it could have been a 9 but so just a 5,5
work on your equlizer skills
the last transition is also very nice again! why not all so?

build up:7,5

very nice getting faster from track to track, the track at 43 is a nice change in your set!!! traxx sound all different thats good its not 100 % a flew but ok as backround mix!!! and compared to other mixes here its the best ASOT clone
with a better intro would be a 9 possible

originality:7

well ASOT clone Nr. 10 here we go , what i like on your mix that u sure used to many ASOT traxx but with a big variety! putting 12 traxx in 60 min aint easy like i saw on my mix!!!

I don`t agree with tommie, i liked the transfers, perfect beatmatching and indeed a very nice and original one around minute 43

Build-up 8

Nice and steady flow in your mix, but not really a peak at the end.

Indeed, a lot of Armin sounds here, but Armin rules at the moment, minute 43 = +1 for orginality.

Tracklist = 8.5 - Great tunes by great artists, just a shame that 90% of DJ are caneing them at the mo

Mixing = 8.5 - Great sync and Beat matching, just a shame some mix's sound a tad too rushed

Flow/Build up = 8.5- Good flow to it just need that extra list at the end IMO

Originality = 8.5 - Given everyone a 8 so far except Ronz has he like me had his own rmx in there, so I boosted it to 8.5 to match the other three 8.5's Ive given you!

I don't understand this comment, you say that I should work on my equalizer skills, which I use in the whole mix...

You're talking about this "equalizer skills" in every ones mix, almost everybody has weak equalizer skills in your eyes, I don't really get that, cause I've heard amost all mixes and there were some very very good mixes with equalizer, so I don't understand your point..

And what's that with the ASOT-set... everybody has his own style and as we are a trance forum and play trance music just like Armin does, you can not call this ASOT sets... for me, I almost never listnen to ASOT because I'm away than, and the files are to big for me to download....

Just a small reply, cause it seems like you think everybody is doing the same things good and bad...

its a fact that many here only played ASOT traxx and i think this is just common, nothing special and all with ASOT traxx got same score so its all fair in my eyes, also its a point in the judging rules!

about the transitions well i didnt say that u didnt work with the equlizer i only said u need to practice it a bit more but some transitions were ok but some others were jsut a bit hard for my taste but hey its your style so if u like them of course keep it!!!
I only rate it how i think and sure in a club u wont hear the echo over the bass but in a prerecorded set u do unfortunately except u got power speakers in your room ....
