-Tracklist [8] - My Type of music, love it. EN2T is such an underated however, superb track.

-Mixing & Technique [7.2] - Great mixes, in sync and flows well but at some points it doesn't (8 wonders & EN2T). I enjoyed it very much but it can use some work.

-Build-up/Structure [8.5] - Nice Start, Good Finish. Great Uplift this is my style of music right here. wink.gif

-Originality [8] - You can tell this tracklist is Precision based. He's a great DJ however having your own style is key. wink.gif Still the mix was nice!

OVERALL [7.8] A mix to watch out for. Very Nice.

too much echo over the bass on some transitions work more with the equlizer!!!, the first one was nice though why not all so???
also some bad positions to fade in / out

build up: 3,5

no real intro, not really changing speed, no build up...

originality: 3,5

nothing new, just another ASOT clone
sorry but im just honest and have to be fair but all ASOT clones will be rated that way sad.gif

overall: 4,5

damn man u got potential but with software mixing is just more possible than this
track selection was nice just nothing new and think about the crossfader + equlizer!!!

@tommy: what you mean with asot clone? blink.gif

i mean in the judging rules of blackhole was under tracklist a point

"does he only play Armin traxx"

and this is unfortunately in 80% of the set´s here and this lowers the score
thats why i call it ASOT clone. but no worry´s all who play too much armin traxx got lower score

about your style:

just keep mixing more and maybe try not to play only traxx which armin plays in his shows try others as well, maybe mix some older unknown traxx in it
well jsut be u and not another armin van buuren hehe wink.gif

maybe try not to play only traxx which armin plays in his shows

that could be a problem, i mean most good tracks are played in his show unsure.gif
and you lower the score only armin maybe played it in his show, i don't understand this really sad.gif
i play what i like blink.gif

i didnt make the rules wink.gif
i only judge how i have to after them

look other´s lower the score because someone used 2 traxx of same artist this would never be a reason for me to lower score so we got all our things where we are looking at in a set

but i judge fair all get same points if they do same stuff!!!

Hi Lagrom...here's the review...

Tracklist: 7.75/10
A nice uplifting tracklist, with tracks with awesome melodies...and they fit in together nicely...though MIB and Sam Deep were a bit "deep" for the taste of the set... .

Mixing/technique: 6.25/10
Up untill Cloud City...the mixing was good..but after that there were some timing problems...and I could hear the kick of the other tunes being mixed too high..and there were some too quick fade outs.

Build-up and structure: 7/10
The set started off nicely with an uplifting feel then started to get a bit harder then u finished off with MIB and Deep..which I felt didn't suit the set well...plus the mixing kinda cooled off the buzz I had for the set... .

Originality: 6/10
Nothing too original...with most of the tunes already played in almost every other set...although they r pretty good... .

Overall: 6.75/10

Good luck with the comp.. smile.gif

Cheers

Ok, Here's DJ Diamond comment for this mix!

Tracklist: 8
Completely my style! Like this tracks!

Mixing: 6
Some small mistakes with beat and time matching, beside that good mixing!

Build-Up: 6
You start quite hard with Scintilator and built up until Vascotica, but then it seems to fall down a little bit and then the last track is hard again... maybe you should have changed the order of tracks a little bit

Originality: 7
Just a normal set, nothing to say about it wink.gif

Overal score: 6.75
Nice set, but you should improve some small mistakes in the mix! Nice job wink.gif
