Sequence 11 aka Sterbinszky - Just My Kind (Original Mix)

Happen to hear a Sequence 11 Remix a while ago! And i really liked it, so i was quite suprised to see this release coming up on one of the best labels around "Shah Music"! This one is a vocal trancer with male vocals which are quite popular nowadays as a LOT of producers are using them instead of female ones. I have to say the vocals are really fitting here! Kinda reminds me off Bryan Adams voice. Ok the lyrics are a bit cheesy "I guess i'm thinking about you , i miss your soul tonight" but the production is really well done. The build-up keeps you interested for more. As i said the vocals are really fitting well into this track, i can imagine this will be aired on TV. Catchy synthlines, vocals and solid production makes this one excellent as a vocal trancer! Nothing over-the-top here, just a simple production which really suits the label well.

Well as i expected when i saw it's the same length as the Original mix. He just deleted the vocals in there. The question is, is it worth listenable without the vocals? I honestly don't think so. The build-up is really made for a vocal track i think and the break sounds too empty without it. If you really really hate vocals than this one suits you the best.

At last Károly's own 'mix' on his production. He did a fine job here. It maintaines in the same style as the Original mix, but still sounding different. The vocals are also fitting in perfectly, he used some 'stutter' tricks on them which i quite like actually. From begin to the end this one should keep you interested again. I always liked Sterbinszky's basslines. If you listen to his remix on Shane 54 ft Tiff Lacey - Someone Like You you know exactly what i mean. Have nothing more to add than this being a solid remake on the Original Mix. I'm not sure who the vocalist is, but i assume it's a guy called Gábor Borsos.

Conclusion:

If you like both Vocal trance and the easy listenings on the Shah Music label you are satisfied with this release for sure. Just don't expect big synthlines and mass effects in any of these tracks. I really like this EP. Something different from the usual vocal trance you hear nowadays. Could get commercial succes if they are gonna air it world-wide. Release date: Around October 24th
