The original was featured on Airwave's Summer Euphoria released through Ministry Of Sound this summer and now finally available as a full release + an exclusive Airwave Remix.
Andy MacDougall aka Andy Tau is not a newbie in the trance scene. After releases on Infrasonic and Bonzai he returns to the Banshee group for a new smasher. Including a remix from legend Laurent [Airwave] himself this could be very interesting!

Andy Tau - North [Original Mix]
Some may heard this mix on Airwave's Summer Euphoria Mix already, some are hearing this for the first time [including me.] Not knowing what to expect i'm really impressed by this track. Nice sounding progtrance this is. Altough you could get a little tired of the simple bassline after a while. The real suprise in this track lays on the atmosphere in the awesome break Andy produced. It's somewhat a build-up for a huge climax, which comes with a nice melody. Addictive tune which keeps you listen. Nice job!

It's been a while since i've heard a new Airwave remix to be honest, Think the 2008 remakes from his Touareq album were the last ones. Ofcourse it's all about quality instead of quantity and i'm glad Laurent isn't releasing tracks each week. This remix really get's you moving! As always i'm really impressed by the crispy percussion Laurent managed to create. The melody from the original mix is worked out perfectly. The break is even better in this one! This is really produced in the same way as the Touareq CD's! If you loved that brilliant release u gotta love this one also. Excellent remix from my hero!
Conclusion:
Andy Tau delivered a fine production himself and it even got better when Airwave got his hands on it! Top notch release so to say. Keep an eye out for Airwave's remix on Ferry Tayle - Avalanche. Released on the same day on Camouflage.
