Become a big fan of this recently, got to say I was mighty impressed with Sied van Riels closing set at Gatecrasher on Saturday too!

was it a good night then mate?

i only got back from holiday late so missed it, going gods this weekend tho!

Was a really good night mate, Ferry played probably the best set i've seen from him live, Armin rocked it as usual and Sied van Riel really impressed me with his closing set - a lot more energetic than I was expecting!

Only letdown was the soundsystem and the sticky carpets lol (reminded me of being in a local Ritzy club!), though I kind of expected that with the Carling Academy!

I was originally planning on going Gods on Sat, there's no way i'll be in any fit state with the Merseyside derby on at lunch though!

Glad you had a good one then mate, can't believe it sold out and then they put on 3 other nights over the weekend. Must have been a nice weekends pay for Ferry & Armin!

Yeah it was at the Carling Academy Nick, not sure if it's their permanent base but I know their next few events are being held there?

To be honest the venue wasn't brilliant, the sound was pretty poor on the balcony areas and to both sides of the dancefloor was a sticky carpet just like you'd find in your local Ritzy club lol! In fairness though it's a pretty big dancefloor and there was plenty of room all night even though it was a sell out.

Not a single laser in sight which was disappointing, though from reading into the reports from the other Gatecrasher events that night it sounds like Crasher spent all their money on the lighting, lasers and decor at Tall Trees!

Strange, Crasher are usually pretty good regarding Lasers. At least there was plenty of room, one thing that did annoy me with the old Gatecrasher - if there were more than 200 on the dancefloor it was pretty rammed
