A new name to Finity means some new fresh stuff coming up! Never heard of Corydalics, altough if he had his music released on Subtraxx i'm sure could expect some excellent tunes. Looking forward this release.

Review:

Corydalics - Longing

When i first played this song, i thought i got the wrong track! Didn't expect this to be an uplifter. Was really surprised to hear this. The arp Ville Hyvönen produced in this one is simply put beautiful! It totally drives the whole track from begin to end. Only thing i'm not really sure about is the instrument for the guitar.. it sounds a bit FM'ish in my opinion. It's not a big deal though,, after that you will be treated on some more ear-candy. The synthline mixed with that beautiful arp and background melodies is truly amazing. Be really sure to check this one out when released. Straight into my top 5 for the moment. Quality!

Corydalics - Reality

This one is totally different though, a typical B-side of a smashing A-side. It's a nice one for sure, but when u heard 'Longing' u will not be as impressed off this one. I really like Ville's way of producing, fast build-ups and creating some suspence in the break. Also not really satisfied over the use of instruments in this break. Perhaps a little more effects would be helpfull to create a more 'professional' sound to this 'bleep instrument'. The pads and background synths are awesome as the previous one. Solid production!

Conclusion:

Well well, another hit on the Finity discography. Really love 'Longing'! an emotional melodic uplifter as it should be! 'Reality' got some minor flaws, but is a great additional for this EP! Keep them coming!
