There have been lots of speculation with what would happen to City this season. With their owner Shinawatra having all his money frozen leading him to borrow just to pay wages, and speculation whether Mark Hughes would stay; this season was just about thrown out the window. Now that an Abu Dhabi group has taken over and started splashing an obscene amount of cash in only 1 day you gotta wonder where they will end up this year and will they do the same in the January transfer? As it was a holiday here in the states i was occupied elsewhere and couldn't watch things happen as they did, but just going through my rss reader and sports news sites this was a fascinating day. Berbatov finally made his transfer to United with City hurrying them to a decision. Also Chelsea gets a just about done deal stolen from them for Robinho, because they don't want to spend a couple extra million on a £32.5 million transfer. I didn't know Chelsea were so tight with their money especially with Abramovich sending Kenyon to Madrid to get it done.

Supprised Robinho went to Man City, i just can't see him, motivated at Bolton away on a Wednesday night in December.

I hope this new company realise that money doesn't guarentee success, look at Chelsea yet to win the CL.
