Danny (aka DJ DIXI-D), man, 36 years old, living in Den Bosch - The Netherlands.

On a early age I already had the passion for music. At the age of six, I was a playing with an old cassette-recorder and a broken turntable as if I was a real DJ. Then for years I never did anything particular with music although deep down inside I had the desire to be a real DJ like Tiësto and Armin van Buuren.

Going to parties like Trance Energy, Dance Valley and many others, my love for Trance music and the dream about being a real DJ came back.

The decision to buy a pair of turntables was made very fast but after turning on a pair of Pioneer CDJ’s I quickly changed these vinyl-turntables for a pair of CDJ’s. A Vestax mixer was found quickly as well so from that moment on the real work could start!

Since a year and a half I spin on regular bases at (small) parties and radio stations like RadioHiTec.nl where I have my own radio-hour to spin my DJ sets.

One of my favourite DJ’s is Sean Tyas who is an real example for me (trancy music with lots of tempo and fireworks in his sets) but also DJ’s like Tiësto, Menno de Jong, Simon Patterson and Above & Beyond are one of my all-time favourites.
My biggest wish is to spin with these guys and to be in same DJ booth some day at a big party somewhere around the globe. ;-)

When I look at the future I hope to improve myself and to get more attention and get the chance of turning at big parties. The most important thing however is the joy I have in spinning the turntables which I hope I’ll have for many years to come.
