Airbase - Tangerine
Heard a lot of rumours about this track already! Huge positive feedback already on other boards. Really love the way this track starts, reminds me a bit of some Cape-Town tracks! A nice long pad followed by an awesome arpeggio. Again an artist who starts using vocal snippets as a track filler. Well not a huge fan of that, but it's not annoying in any way at all. With 3 Minutes 40 till the break i think it's a pretty long build-up, but Jezper knows how to entertain us, and u won't get bored listening to it. The main melody is 'uber' uplifting! An addictive melody which u won't forget easily! Well what can i say more about this one, Jezper did a quality job! Let's find out how's Spion holding up against this one.

Not heard this one yet in a Dj set, but that doesn't mean it's less good then Tangerine ofcourse! Don't really like the bassline in this one,, it's perhaps a bit too electroish for me. I do like the dreamy synth he's adding later on though! Not much happening in the build-up itself, but as the track is 6:34 long. U won't expect it to be long! The main melody of this one is even better then Tangerine i must say! A brilliant dreamy melody,, reminds me of a nice summer sunset. Spion is an awesome additional to the brilliant Tangerine! Well done Jezper. Really can imagine this one being someone's favourite when it comes out. Check out the samples!
Conclusion:
Wow Jezper is back on track with this brilliant EP on the fresh label owned by Menno De Jong & Paul Moelands. Both tracks are perhaps released a bit too late, as i expected them to be summer smashers. But i'm sure this will get more support during the release. Excellent work Airbase!
