And if the universe is expanding, what is it expanding into, and how do you get something from nothing, so how did something get there in the first place.

Questions thats will never be answered in my life time. Shame, would be interesting to find out, heh.

I suggest you buy and read a book called " A Short History of Nearly Everything " by Bill Bryson. Its an amazing book which will answer all of your questions above. Its a pretty cool read if a little intense at times.... but it lets you know some cool s**t lol.

I reckon Male cows created GOD by the way.... and it rhymes with PullPit 123groovey.gif

It doesn't come from nothing but from a parallel universe... rolleyes.gif
At the center of this parallel universe was a huge and massive black hole, attracting all the substance, and at last, this universe crunched on it-self (my own vision, inspired on the "big crunch theory" of the expansion of our universe). Then, all this substance was sending to our universe in a big bang.
Seriously, some theories say black holes at centers of galaxies are way to another parallel universes. And they are also different theories about the expansion of the universe : infinite expansion, or expansion until a point (which one?), or "big crunch theory".
In all cases, i don't trust in a divine creation, i think all is cyclic.
