Tiesto returns to the Maelstrom stable with a one-off single "Ride" featuring guitar and vocals from American singer/songwriter Cary Brothers. Originally a remix that soon became a standout live track in its own right from the recent American leg of the "In Search of Sunrise Tour", "Ride" became a huge favourite with the loyal Tiesto fan base.

Let's get straight to the point. This is not Tiesto's best work. The song starts off with a similar vibe to his 'Allure' side-project, but fails to carry it through without being incredibly cheesy. The vocal sounds like it doesn't even belong (which is good work considering this is a remix), and that's not even the worst part. The awful guitar totally overpowers everything else in the song and in my opinion makes this near unlistenable. Only a die-hard Tiesto fan is going to like this, and I'm certainly not one.
