I finally decided it was time to update my ideas from my original Protector. I like the new direction, and I hope you will too.

yeah, i remember you posted the 1.0 version

this one sounds waaaaaayy better
good job

some things i noted

- maybe there's some space for a lead in the part after the breakdown ? makes it more interesting i guess
- the bassline is kinda high/raw...... i would correct that with an equaliser and throw some high frequencies out. A little delay on it can make it more juicy
- the drums are all time the same 4 - 5 samples..... however they are hugely improved since the last version, there's still some room to improve them. Surprise yourself

- pads are awesome
- also the piano is great
- good breakdown

Bass could be deeper, thats true. But the pattern is very fine.

Agree with Thijs in the drums issue. Pretty nice progress you've made.

Those low pads sound just great.

I wouldn't be affraid to give the piano more space. Might be good to use some decent frequence filter LFO on it to make it sound more lively.

I like the arrangement. The progress of the tune is very enjoyable.

Crash sample is still a bit lame. But I have always the same problem. I want some nice crash!!!

I agree with both of your ideas. For me it seems like it's always hit or miss with percussion. I'm getting there though.
