For the fourth instalment of our exclusive South West Four video Podcasts we caught up with returning South West Four champion, this years main stage headline DJ and one of the nicest men in dance music, yes Carl Cox!
Recently voted the most influential DJ of the last twenty-five years by dance music bible Mixmag, Carl has been there, seen that and done it all. From making his name at the late 80’s orbital acid house raves, championing the underground sound of techno, being one of the first international ambassadors of dance music as well as being the only DJ in the world to bring in the Millennium twice by traversing two different time zones. From performing to over a million people at Germany’s infamous Love Parade to rocking Ibiza each an every weekend during the summer season whilst touring the globe with his massive ‘Carl Cox & Friends’ parties and still have just as much, if not more enthusiasm for his job twenty five years later! We caught up with Carl on the site of South West Four on Clapham Common where he’s getting himself vibed up for this years South West Four!
