tech-trance...and not very good tech-trance at that, if armin played this everyone would moan and call it "techy rubbish".

on a greater note why does everybody play tech-trance in clubs??

I suppose the mix between trance and tech trance is a much easier blend, and there are a lot of trance fans who do like tech. Im not a big fan of tech trance, but do appreciate the occasional tune or two. Your right, this would be techy rubbish on asot... I dont think its too bad

When Markus played this at MOS back in May it ripped the floor to bits. Such an epic tune.

can't remember if i have heard it before, just sounds like any cosmic gate track so far..

that break sounds quite nice though i must admit, as long as it doesn't build now and just go back into that same beat for another 4 minutes it could be promising..

I'm not a huge fan of the techy stuff, but I can see why it has been placed where it is in this set.

I think its what you said before... the odd tune rocks but I soon get fed up if theres too much tech,,,

Yeah thats fair enough, but there has been too much of it thats all. I know Markus likes it and im sure i recall him doing a full tech-trance mix at a big event once but it just gets so dull after 2 or 3 tunes. It's all about personal tastes so i guess i shouldn't complain, I just wanted to hear some wicked melodys with killer basslines as markus does best.

A lot of it can depend on the crowd too, if they are hot and rowdy then more often than not they demand the techy stuff en mass. It is probably what happened at this gig.

Next month in Tokyo for example, could be completely different.

It was like that when i went to Tall Trees for Goodgreef (which is famed for tech now anyway) and i listened to 8 hours of tech-trance. Not my best night out i must say, but i should of seen it coming with the lineup
