My first review for MoonRising records! A quality label which are well known for there superb releases like: Airbase - Roots, Puma White - Copenhagen, Michael Badal - Cold. I would like to thank James Wood [Wandii] who gave me this great opportunity!

Tomac - Like a Dream (Original Mix)
Never heard a Tomac production before, but i'm really impressed by the quality he produced here! A top notch uplifter which will destroy a dancefloor within no-time. The build-up is really massive and gives u a feeling this can't go wrong anymore. Those leads he used in the climax are the definition of uplifting trance! Perhaps those kinda leads are overused by many other producers, but who cares anyway? I can't get enough of it! The soaring lead in the break fits very well too. This is an uplifter i would like to hear live! Well done!

A vocal mix of the original? Could hardly believe what kinda vocals u want to add in it. After a listen i noticed the vocals are only used in the break. Don't think this was really a necesarry addition, but perhaps it gives it a little more boost. I will go for the Original mix.

Mark Versluis is a busy guy nowadays! Producing for respected labels like Alter Ego , Insatiable Records and Conspiracy he returns to Moonrising. To be honest i never been a huge fan of his productions, but he's certainly not bad at all! Just think it's not always outstanding from the rest. This remix he made here is really nice though! The way he turned the original melody in his own style is awesome! It got energy for sure! But as i said before, it doesn't really stand out towards the rest of the mixes. Listen to the samples if you want to compare them yourself!
Conclusion
A really fine release for sure! MoonRising is releases quality all over again. If you love uplifters this is another top release in 2008 for you. Original comes out as the winner of the package in my opinion.
