So Luiz Felipe Scolari is becoming the new Chelsea manager as of July 1st.....
What does everyone think of his appointment? Is it just another high profile short term solution to try and win something?
Which players do you think will leave Chelsea and who do you think may come in?

Well......he is better then Grant for sure.
But just like Mourinho he's bad tempered.
I think that Abramovich is waiting for Hiddink who's the best manager at this moment no doubt

But does it mean the end for Frank Lampard?
I surely cannot see Lampard, Ballack, Essien, Mikel and Deco all featuring in the one team.

I'm not sure that Chelsea will do all that well this year, Scolari is a manager that likes to motivate his players but will he be able to get his message across with such limited English?
As for the signing of Deco, potentially it could be a great one, but I have my doubts as to whether he can handle the rough and tumble of the Premier League?

Well they have spent what, £30 million so far on Bosingwa and Deco, and there is talk that they might pip Man City to Ronaldinho. I can see it becoming a playground full of overinflated egos.
Chelsea are becoming more and more like Real Madrid part 2, and I would regard them as a plastic club with no morals.
I am not sure about scolari. Obviously he is good at international level, but I have no clue what he is like at club level.
The signing of deco is a good one, i seem to rate him a lot more than others do, seems to have excellent control of the ball, and always keeps possession with the ability to distribute the ball well also.
I think Lampard is off, as others have said, there is no real room for him in the team anymore. Also maybe Drogba on his way as well. We shall see.
At the end of the day Chelsea have bought success in the past, and I am sure they will again, with the kind of money they can spend they can afford to keep chopping and changing, where as United, Arsenal and Liverpool have to spend more wisely.
But you can say one good thing for Chelsea, they have helped raise the bar in the Premier League, but that Bar is now very high, and teams like United have come up and beyond it, and its not as easy to buy success as it was. Going to be another interesting season.
