Review:

Thomas Feijk feat.Sonja - Trap (Original Mix)

Thomas already got some several releases under his name! Remember the release It's All White on Atmosphoria Records [Also review'd here @ UKTA]
that release certainly had some potentional! He's just about to release another remix on Mondo recordings [Digital Delay - My Love]. Well this first release on Finity is in my opinion his best work so far! A brilliant progressive trancer with no over the top decoration. It's all about the stunning break in this track! The piano + vocal + guitar is fitting very well! And it continues after the break with a fresh melody which kept this track alive! I'm afraid some progressive trancers will find this one not that fresh and new. I agree it doesn't have a lot of new and never heard elements, but this one is certainly a joy to listen to,, perfect for a ride in your car and relaxing smile.gif

Thomas Feijk feat. Sonja - Trap (Jussi Soro Remix)

Jussi Soro should ring a bell by everyone i think! He had his stuff released on Alter Ego , Five AM and Enhanced already. Now he's back with a nice progressive remix on Finity. The thing what really attracked me are the beautiful guitar riffs he added. Really gives a great atmosphere, mixed with the catchy vocals i really think it's a tie game between this one and the Original mix! This one is a bit faster and just grooves a little bit better. Also the use of instruments is really surprising i just hear a saxaphone added with the melody! Brilliant remix,, think i've made my choice after all! smile.gif . Listen to the samples to compare both mixes.

Thomas Feijk feat.Sonja - Trap (Kasper Koman & Ruslan B Remix)

This remix made by two unknown producers is the only Electro house mix here. I'm not a fan of those "blip blop" melodies at all to be honest. The bassline is quite catchy though. The break is quite nice too. The vocals are mixed with a nice soft pad, but as expected the climax of the tune is nothing more then the same elements the build-up has. Definitely not my favourite mix of this package, but will probably gets attention by Electro House dj's for sure! But i think u've heard this tune already after listening to the samples.

Conclusion:

This was my first review for Finity! A label which i really respects. This release has two outstanding mixes and one ,, well not my cup of tea. Jussi Soro again made a fine remix! This guy is getting somewhere for sure! Also keep an eye out for Thomas Feijk's next work! Hehe quite curious who this Sonja girl is rolleyes.gif

7.5/10
