Ferrin & Low – Atlantis / Westworld
CODE
FEN-022
This is the followup release to the very massive "Ferrin & Low - Breeze" on the Fenology label.
"Westworld" is a driving and uplifting Ferrin & Low single, while "Atlanta" is a highly magnetic Trancer by Ferrin & Low introducing upcoming artist Alan Morris.
With direct full support from top DJs Armin van Buuren (" State of Trance") and Above & Beyond ("Trance Around the World"), this proofs once again that Fenology keeps delivering high quality releases

Really quality release this time, the first review for Fenology! Set up mid 2003. Owned and operated by Woody Van Eyden.
I enjoyed making this review for the UKTA board!! Enjoy reading it folks!
I'm sorry Fenology didn't provide us the release on promo, so i couldn't make samples for you guys to listen to. Here is the link to the CDJshop website with the samples though:

Review:
Ferrin and Low vs Alan Morris - Atlanta extended
This long awaited track is finally going to see the light! Already hammered by the big dj’s like Armin
Van buuren and Above & Beyond. This certainly is a quality track! A fresh uplifter which really wants
To be listened to. Addictive build-up and a catchy riff in the climax would destroy any dancefloor for
sure. Never heard of Alan Morris before though, and have no idea what his part in this track would
have been. All I can say this one definitely is going to get a lot of attention when it finally gets out.
Ferrin and Low - Westworld main mix
This is certainly my favourite track out of the whole release! What an monster this is! Really an uplifter how it should be made. Powerfull synths and supersaws. Mixed up with some background vocals works out just perfect. The break is just fantastic, will deliver many “hands in the air” moments I guess. The climax is much better than in Atlanta, which was a beauty though. One of my favourites at the moment. I can’t wait until this one gets released. What a beauty!
Ferrin and Low - Westworld Josh Ferrin Remix
A somewhat slower trance remix from Ferrin himself. Not quite as powerful then the main mix was, but certainly not a bad mix! I enjoy this mix to be honest. I don’t think this will get a lot of attention, think most people including me would go with the main mix. Can’t really say this one is a great additional to the whole release. I think there is something missing in it. Perhaps I’m still comparing this one to the main mix, which I apparently just can’t do. Still it has great percussion and a quality build-up which makes this one certainly attractive in some way. Nice job.
Ferrin and Low - Westworld Alan Morris Remix
As I said before I never heard of Alan Morris before until now. And this remix is a bit better than the Josh Ferrin remix in my opinion. It keeps all the elements out of the main mix intact. It’s a really powerful remix for sure! And got a nice driving bassline and not those standard ones u hear in almost every release. Would love to hear some more work from mr Alan Morris soon! He definitely knows how to produce some quality! Great remix!
Ferrin and Low - Westworld (Cold Blue Remix)
Was really thrilled to see a Cold Blue remix here! Really enjoy a lot of his productions nowadays.
Especially the one he did with Pedro del mar [11 Days / Seven Ways]! This remix is really good! A
Fantastic build-up got this one. It really drives u towards the break which is awesome too. Yes this is
My favourite remix out of the whole package for sure. A lot of energy and some great idea’s , like the
way he cut the vocals to last them longer. Or the effects in the break,, do I hear sea samples in it?. This one deserves some major spin time from the big jocks for sure! Quality!
Conclusion:
Really a quality release! As I’m used to from Fenology records. Best mix should be the main mix, cause of it’s huge impact! A real dancefloor destroyer! I know this is definitely going to be a huge success. Thanks to the early support from ASOT and TATW. Hopefully Ferrin & Low keep on producing tracks like this one. And would love to hear something from Alan Morris too in the near future. Top notch.
8/10
