Derek Recay' first apprearence on the label is a stormer. Full of power, energy and drive, this is really going to light up the floor. On remix duties we have Paul Miller who meets Steve Allen & Ben Alonzi for this one. As you would of expected, there is plenty of drive, euphoria and energy. A power filled package here for you.
Well this is my first review from Communicate Recordings, which is run by Steve Allen who is also involved with Ben Alonzi in Diverted Recordings, and responsible for a lot of quality remixes and own productions!
I want to thank him for giving me the opportunity to review this upcoming release!
All samples made by me, and during 2:00 minutes.

Review:
Dereck Recay - Hydrolook (Original Mix)
I never heard of Dereck Recay before, but i certainly know the label very good! So i had no doubt this was gonna be a quality track. It got a pretty slow build-up but it keeps his head above the ground with some energic percussion and effects. I always think the tracks released on this label got the same ingredients as the ones from Chris Hampshire's Discover recordings. It's a real typical style which i thought only UK producers can produce! [Dereck is Polish] And me certainly likes it!
The break of this track is simply amazing! In one sentence " A Fat Uplifting Supersaw!" Ment to destroy a dancefloor. Perhaps he could add a little more percussion to make it sound a bit more interesting,, but i'm fine with it this way! Quality trancer for sure. Please listen to the sample.
Dereck Recay - Hydrolook (Paul Miller vs Steve Allen & Ben Alonzi Remix)
Haha another Paul Miller production here. This guy is simply remixing and producing like crazy. I really wonder if he even get's out of his studio in Poland. He must make good money out of it.. I can't believe he got a job next to producing
Well perhaps he let the Diverted/Communicated guys do the job? Who knows! Anyway, this remix is simply put as good as the original is! I think the supersaw in the original mix worked a bit better, but this remix got a better bassline and percussion i think. Yes if i listen to both tracks once again i must say i slightly prefer this one. It just sounds bit more "professional" Really worked out. Both tracks are really addictive and should be spun by any Dj! Pure uplifters!
Conclusion:
As you could read out of my words from both tracks i really dig this release! Two quality uplifters which you or totally love or totally hate. I can imagine a lot of people are already bored with these kinda tracks. Honestly it are not the most original tracks 2008 got to offer, but hey it totally suits the label perfectly! Massive trancers which are totally my style! Can't wait for more work from Dereck Recay!
8/10
