I listened to his show tonight and heard a few really good tunes and have seen him play on various occasions and sometimes i think yes, he is at the top of game, the tunes are amazing. Yet, sometimes he makes my blood boil with the s**te he plays and does.

Opinions........... blink.gif

If you like Judge Jules check out this film

Kevin & Perry Go Large

DJ Judge Jules contributed many times and worked alongside Harry Enfields for the film.

Jules even created the mix that Kevin and Perry create in the film.

Very funny movie.

He needs to retire, his love for the genre (trance) has fizzled out and all he does in his livesets is try to emulate what Eddie Halliwell has been doing for years with little or no success. Tune selection is all over the place with no real structure and his mixing is generally bad, unfortunately promoters see the need to book him on every great lineup only to hinder it in the process.

Yeh couldn't agree more.

I respect him for what he has contributed but its time for him to stop.

I find it really annoying that there is so many talented British DJ's around (Jon O'Bir being the obvious example) who fail to get onto the big named events such as Crasher, Global Gathering, Creamfields etc but yet ever year and every event Judge Jules gets a prime slot simply because of his name and the obvious money attraction surrounding him......

I actually rate Jules very highly. I know he has his critics for one reason or another but when it comes to banging it out and taking the roof off, he rarely dissappoints. Fair enough, he goes by formula of playing tried and tested records, but thats just his style I think.

well im back in on night shift at work so will be tuning in again to see how he fairs this week

I'm not doubting his ability to play a good record (surely every DJ can achieve this?), i am more doubting his technical ability and general structure to his sets etc

This is coming from a fan of his, check his old forum i was a member there for many years, but now his sets rarely get me going and I feel that he has lot his touch..
