After several success with Proglifter, Percivalesque and Métaphorique it was time to do a little more and Cape Town did, producer Airwave and Ferry Tayle teamed up to make a bunch of new tracks and rework some old tunes which are all comprised in this brilliant true tance album and is for sure one of the big releases of 2008. With a remix contest coming on this album as well, it promises to be a big release!!!
Ahhh the long awaited Cape Town Album finally hit the stores at 12 February 2008!! Really loved all releases like "Metaphorique , Proglifter , Percivaleque" The coming of this album promised something good,, and i can tell you guys. IT IS GOOD! Containing 4 new tracks, which are: Pitstop [Amblifter Mix] , Aviateur, Co-Pilot and Albatros.
All samples made by me, and during 2:00 minutes.

Review:
[Pitstop - Amblifter Mix]
As you can see in the name, this is a more ambient based take on the original mix. Really a great start to begin an album with. Great track for sure, altough i'm not usually a fan of ambient/chill tracks. This is a hate/love thing for sure. First of the 4 new tracks on the album.
[Metaphorique - Ferry Tayle Neverending Story Mix]
Ferry Tayle sure knows how to produce ultimate long tracks.. this one is almost 13 minutes long
Released back in July on the same label "Camouflage". Starting of with a long intro for almost 3 minutes. Keeps on building up till a beautiful melody. Around 7:00 you will get the break with the main melody, which sure is addictive and well known.
[Touch The Skies, Talk To The Stars]
Will honestly say this is my least favourite track of the album, it's just too long, but got a tearmaking beautiful classical break. It doesn't go anywhere after that. No synthlines etc. A shame if you ask me, cause they can do soo much better. Released back in 2002 with Pitstop on Bonzai UK.
[Aviateur]
A brand new track made for the album! And one of my favourites already. Just back to the roots! A brilliant piece of trance. Just listen to the samples and you will get addicted for sure! How they keep getting idea's like these is a riddle for me, but i keep impressed!
[Proglifter - Original Mix]
I think this is one of the most well known tracks from Cape Town. Released back in 2006 on Camouflage Digital. Another one with an astonishing melody. I talked to people who have this one in their all time favourite tracks list. I wouldn't go that far, but still is one hell of a tune!
[Metaphorique - Original Mix]
I prefer this one to the Ferry Tayle remix. It's still long though, but you won't turn this one down easily. Again this is one you listen for the amazing melody! You should lay back and just close your eyes with this one.
[Co-Pilot]
When i first heard samples of this track on DjAirwave's website i was blown away! What an amazing and beautiful tune this one is! By far my favourite of the album, and best Cape Town track ever! Really got all the elements i would like to hear in a trance tune! Listen to the samples and get addicted! Got this one on repeat a lot
[Cinema - Ferry Tayle Neverending Story Mix]
Hmm Cinema,,,"?" This one was released in 2003 right? Yes, the original was indeed. But this Ferry Tayle mix is from last year! A great remix with the Ferry Tayle track duration " 11 minutes " but neverless one you won't skip easily.
[Albatros]
The last track of the new tracks is Albatros. Which contains the beautyness of the Cape Town alias, "Addictive Melody"! Sure one of my favourites on this album. Think you guys will love this one a lot. Listen to the samples! I notice all those new tracks are not as long as the previous releases of Cape Town "Cinema, Proglifter" etc. Dunno why, but perhaps they got critizized for that? I honestly prefer shorter tracks too.
[Phoenix Tears]
This one was released last year with Cinema 2007 on Green Martian. This one got a lot of "Touch The Skies , Talk To The Stars". Like it don't got a synthline after the break. And not really a strong build-up. You really are skipping to the main break if you ask me. Which is a beauty again! Like it's produced for Hollywood movies or something
[Pitstop - Original Mix]
The album starts and ends with a Pitstop. This one is 2002 already, released on the infamous Green Martian label. A dreamy trancer with a lot of L-Vee's elements in it i must say. Probably produced in his studio. A classic for sure! Prefering this to the Amblifter Mix.
Conclusion:
What a great album this is! Was very excited to review this one. One of my favourite reviews i personal think i did. I hope this one get's a lot of support and sales around the world! It sure is another Laurent Véronnez & Ludovic Meyer beauty to have in your collection! Hope you guys enjoy this review, as i did my best as usual!
