One of the worst appointments they could have made in my view!
Granted he will restore attractive football back to Newcastle, but for all the money he spent last time round the only thing he won up there was promotion back into the Premier League!
Gerard Houllier would have been far better suited for the job, he may not be renowned for encouraging the most stylish football but at Liverpool it was a winning style in the most, he would have shored up the defence and has a proven track record for developing youth - all things that the Newcastle board said they were looking for.
I guess it'll be another 4-3 to look forward to at Anfield on March 8th then, perhaps we'll see more of thebelow when he next meets up with Alex Ferguson as well!
