I can't understand Stevie G so Cappello's got some problems there
Reckon he is one of the best out there he has already shown from his time at Madrid he won't take any crap which is exactly what England need....
People wanted an English manager but i don't think there is anyone who can do it so Cappello is a good choice for me

He's a good choice, a winner, a vastly experienced one at that, not afraid to make big decisions.
He'll speak English fluently by next September, he's a clever man and will take loads of lessons. He already speaks French, Italian and Spanish if he can learn them he can master English no problem as its the easiest language to learn in the world apparently.

Definitely think we could've done a lot worse but the proof will be in the results and the performances

Good appointment in my view, the only issue could be with the language but i'm sure he'll pick up enough to get his message across!
Seems a pretty ruthless manager, won't take any flack and isn't afraid to drop the so called superstars!
This will certainly be the biggest challenge of his career so far though, the English league may well be up there with the best world but the technical ability of our national side leaves a lot to be desired!
if you wanna watch boring, defensive football then capello is da man.
if you want to win at all costs, at end of the day capello is da man.

i believe he won't do very well, because italy and england each one has its own school, in a case that england usually play more offensively but the italien (cappello) play more defensilvely and on counter attacks... so i see them totally 2 different school

I think he is the best pick of all the candidates. I hope for Englads sake he does well as they have so many amazing individual players. All they need is to gel well together as a team. They need to get rid of thier ego's and gain some team spirit and pride.
Also... I don't think Cappello is a yes man which can only be good for the team.

He cant do any worse than McF**kup can he. Hes a proven quality manager, but then again.. hes working with a bunch of monkeys now so maybe we need a zoo keeper instead.
Good luck to him though !! Its about time England made the finals in something again !

Only problem for some people is that he isn't english, otherwise he was the best choice, vast experience and proven winner. He is also one of the best at getting the best out of his players.

Decent enough start for him last night, once the nerves settled we played some tidy football
I do think the home crowd need to be more patient though, as that's the style of football Capello will play!
