Full Version: Anybody In Here Live In The Tri State Area?
Its hard to find ppl around here that like electronic music. I went to see Armin @ Pacha in NY about a month ago. The only friends I knew that liked this music bailed out at the last minute. I had to go alone, but I still had a great time and met lots of good ppl. Im wondering if anyone around new jersey, philadelphia , ny is on here. I've been mixing for about 8 years now and have a nice set up. If anyone can spin or just wants to go to a party let me know!

Try Dallas, Im not sure how far a drive that is. They have a decent scene down there.
Well Chicago isn't too bad. I missed AVB when he hit Chicago on Oct 27 because of a big Halloween Party

heard from a friend that chicago's predominant edm scene mainly consists of gay people, sort of like here, they pretty much run the market as far as what's expected to play on the radio and what dj's come. hence the horrible dj's as well as music. like i said earlier, you hear alot of retarded kelly clarkson remixes on the radio along with horrible hip hop remixes. i actually dont really know why they're called remixed, it is honestly the original song with an added bassline.

That information I am not sure of, but as for weak DJ's yes this is true. Few of the clubs around Chi town trance some what, and more of the Progressive Trance scene.

I cant stand that. PPL hear that crap, and they associate it with trance. Thats one of the reasons why alot of ppl dont like electronic music, they think its the cheesy stuff they hear on the radio.

ya, like any music people dont like they think it all sounds the same. i remember saying hip hop all sounds the same, you could say the same about classical or anything you dont choose to listen to. maybe just death metal, i tried really hard to listen to it but just think its totally retarted. but thats just me.
