You know, Im not really into boxing all that much, but I actually cant wait for this fight.

Been loving reading all the build up every day in papers. Got a mate who is over in Vegas to watch it. Im pretty jealous right now to say the. It would be so good to experience the atmosphere there atm.
Definately behind Hatton all the way.
We will be staying up to watch. Going to be a late night :s

Didn't see it but read all about it, so Hatton was well beaten then?
I wouldnt say he was well beaten....he gave it his all but mayweather was just too good and fast for him.
I was well gutted!!

Hatton was unlucky in the earlier rounds the ref, judges and Mayweather stopped him fighting his way, loads of stopages. It could of been different on another night but some of the boxing in the later rounds from Mayweather was awsome!!
Gutted about the result i watched it in a bar with around 200 other people, great atmosphere and build up!

aye was a good fight. hatton made a fight of it early on but he was still failing to hit mayweather enough, and he on the other hand was landing hits on hatton every now and then with great regularity.
hatton was too tired bu the 7th and mayweather looked like he could have gone on forever.
hatton needs to step back down a weight. you could see he was always gonna struggle against mayweather who isnt the largest by anyones standards in that weight but was still considerably bulkier than hatton

Ohhhh, soo gutted about Ricky!! I had been looking to this for ages! The build-up was immense, shame the arrogant Floyd won..

but I guess the better man wins! It was unusual to see Ricky being knocked out!Oh well...
also, watched on youtube.com Floyd Vs Oscar, and from what l saw I cant figure out how Floyd could win that one!
Alhtough, Joe Calzaghe in a different weght category, do you reckon Joe could have Floyd...?Do u think he's a better boxer?

actually wanted mayweather to lose, cant stand that guy, totally has his head up his ass. heard from a friend that the hatton fans were being pretty disrespectful during the U.S's national anthem, not cool
as far as de la hoya im surprised de la hoya even lasted that long against him, many people thought he'd only last 5 rounds considering his age.

Is Mayweather now going to retire?
I guess there is no one else at present who could take him on...
