Chris and Robbie return under their ‘A&N Project’ guise with their debut release on DeepBlue, a taster for their forthcoming album. 'Wear That Dress' is classic Agnelli & Nelson fodder – pristine production and infectious melodies, underpinned by some stonking guitar work and a blistering vocal performance from Northern Ireland's Phil Wolesey, a former member of chart botherers 'Joyrider'. This track has already received support from Ferry Corsten.

Agnelli & Nelson Club Mix
These boys have been around for years, hell they were even around when trance hit its commercial peak back in the summer of 1999. So they should know what they're doing by now. This is standard Agnelli & Nelson fare, and has that forbidden fruit: male vocals. Luckily for the trance communities ears, Mr Phil Wolesey doesn't sound like he's getting a little bit too excited on this track, if you know what I mean. The vocal is used as the lead, rather than being an added element which works quite nicely, although I have to say it's not really to my taste. That said, this is a good example of Chris and Robbie's fairly unique production style, that tries to stay fresh, whilst reminding us of the good old days.

John O'Callaghan Remix
John's productions can be pretty hit and miss for me, this one is slightly on the side of hit. Similar in style to his remix of Ronski Speed's "The Space We Are", the bass guitar-esque bassline should suit the vocal, but doesn't quite work. Pretty good, but I'm left wanting to hear "The Space We Are" which probably isn't a good thing. Pretty good production wise, but nothing innovative here.

Sean Tyas Remix
Do I really need to write this review? We all know what Sean Tyas productions and remixes sound like, and even though I like a lot of them he needs to start doing something at least slightly different. Sorry Sean, adding a Fred Baker style snare doesn't count. Regardless, I'm sure if I played this at a trance night the people would love it.

Original Extended Mix
Pretty similar to the John O'Callaghan remix, but this was obviously made first so wins. Or something. A little bit too slow to maintain the energy and arrogance of the vocal, it's pretty much a toned down version of the Club Mix.

Rating:
Not a bad effort, old-school trance from the experts.

The John O'Callaghan mix is my favourite from the pack, but I really can't make my mind up whether I like the male vocal or not, it's almost as if it is not quite fitting with the track?

To be fair i've only heard this track at home, so hearing it in the clubs may just decide things for me!

Really like this release! The Sean Tyas remix for me,, loads of energy and just well done me thinks

That's what makes me really like this track! Even though I don't think lyrics aren't great, it's a hit. with me, at least.

I don't usually like Sean Tyas' but this will be an exception..
