Colorful Recordings’ latest release offers us a taste of some young and upcoming talent in the form of Polish production wizz Conrad S. ‘Apologies’ is superbly produced and it is almost impossible to believe that this is in fact Conrad S’ debut release! His interest in music production began back in 1998 at the tender age of only 14. It is clear that music is in his blood and all eyes are now firmly focused on his releases with high expectations that he will have a massive impact on the trance scene.

Apologies (original) on the A side kicks straight in with an awesome tribal beat and gradually builds into a seriously uplifting trance anthem. Combining the perfect blend of techy and tribal beats with euphoric Balearic breakdowns this has already proved to be a massive hit with multiple plays from Armin Van Buuren plus strong support from Above & Beyond and Ron Van Den Beuken to name just a few. The B side on the release has a real pulse to it an offers a slightly harder take on the original. There is no doubt that this remix by Orjan Nilsen will be just as huge as the original. A State of Mind take on remix duties as well and offer up a version that eases off on the drums and kicks and lifts the treble up for ultimate euphoric energy. As a complete package this release looks set to send shockwaves across the scene and propel Conrad S into dance music stardom.

To be honest i have never heard from Conrad S before, but i have to say i really enjoyed listening this producer

Conrad S - Apologies (Original Mix) [8:44]
The original mix is a real anthem stomper. It starts with a mystic synth, followed by a heavy bass which reminds me to the good old above & beyond tracks. After almost two minutes there's a little climax, followed by that sweet heavy bassline. After three minutes the break begins. It sounds very mystic and melodic with a frettless bassguitar and ambient drones. As soon the track builds up with that heavy bassline it develops to a anthem trancer with awesome stabs. For me it's an awesome anthem track, not to finish a liveset with but it belongs for sure to an anthem night for me.

Conrad S - Apologies (Orjan Nilsen Remix) [7:37]
The Orjan Nilsen remix of Apologies starts more melodic than the original mix but has an even hard bassline like the original. After three minutes the breakdown starts. Sadly it happens where i was affraid for. As some people know I'm not a fan of that super-sugar-sweet style like Orjan also does but he uses it in this remix too. After the break he uses a sort longer "stab" or pad together with the arpeggiator from the buildup. After this the super-sweet-sugar melodie comes back. Technically sounds Orjan's remix good but i'm not a fan of his style so give this remix a

Conrad S - Apologies (A State of Mind Remix) [7:40]
The State of Mind remix sounds the most different of the three versions. This one has a more tech/club feeling. It starts with a lot more high frequencies and there are a bunch of backspins and the body has a lot of those techy re-re-re-repeats. Till the breakdown it's not that melodical. After the break it builds up with the same stabs as the original version and. The difference with the original version is that the A State of Mind remix uses more dynamic in gain of the synths and the emotions of it. After it built up, it's really a driving club stomper.
For me this is the best version of all so I will give it a
