Sean Tyas is back with the eagerly awaited follow up to "Lift", his debut release for Discover at the back end of 2006. Since then Sean has been involved in numerous projects and remixes for some of the most credible labels in the business, but it is Discover Records that he calls home. Following on from "lift" was never going to be easy but Sean exceeded even his own high standards to deliver a quality slice of Grade A trance. Drop is a bulldog on steroids coupled with one of the most memorable riffs of the year so far. This is one of the most eagerly awaited trance records of the year and we are sure you will not be dissappointed. Dan Reaves and Niels von Ahorn flex their remix muscles on this one to round the package off nicely and keep Discover Records firmly on top of their game.
All samples made by me, and during 2:00 minutes.

Ahh finally a new Sean Tyas remix! This man definitely needs no introduction, his discography reaches the mountains already! You guys probably heard this tune in ASOT or TATW already! Well let's get started !
Sean Tyas - Drop [Original Mix] [08:51m]
A typicall Tyas track this is! Starts in a great tempo, full off effects, percussion, basses. Then after one minute the main bassline kicks in, and you know this gonna be good! Am always impressed how he keeps that monotone bassline in every production he makes
Just as in Lift you hear some notes in the buildup from the main melody already. In the main break it's full glory! Again Sean creates a very addictive powerfull melody which keeps in your head.! Really liked this track from mr Tyas. A perfect release on a brilliant label! Some may find it mediocre or even boring, but think the majority will dig this too! Listen to the samples and decide yourself!
My Score: 7.5/10!
Sean Tyas - Drop [Reaves & Ahorn Mix] [07:53m]
Hmm last time i've heard from Reaves & Ahorn was there remix on Corderoy -Drifting. So am a little curious what they have done now. They sure kept the elements of the original alive! I hear the same effects, bassline got the same tone. But honestly i even think this one sounds way cleaner and more finished! Altough the melody doesn't sound as big as in the original, it sure can get a dancefloor moving! I think this remix suits the "normal" trancer the most. I cannot decide which remix i like the most. Think i will give them the same mark hehe. Top release and top remix by these guys!
Listen to the samples and decide yourself!
My Score: 7.5/10!
Final Score: 7.5!!
