Darren Tate needs no introduction and this double A release shows exactly why he is still at the top of his game when it comes to breathtaking and memorable music. Echoes is a massive big room trance work out. On the flip Chori Chori is just as stunning but takes things on a more progressive tip.

Above & Beyond “Simply brilliant, record of the week for us”
Armin Van Buuren “Really like both tracks I’ve been playing Chori Chori loads on ASOT”

Matt Darey “Darren Tate is on absolute form with this package! Both tracks are
completely independant yet come together perfectly to showcase both the trance and
progressive sides of this masterful producer!"
Scott Bond “wicked :)"
Thrillseekers “Played in all my sets over last 4 weeks or so. Great record"
Gareth Emery “Chori Chori is a superb track. Echos also rocks, essentially two very
uplifting tracks, total Tate."

Well as the above lines said,, Darren certainly doesn't need an introduction! The man who bring us Prayer For A God , DT8 Project, Jurgen Vries , and Orion now returns with 2 massive tracks! Both tracks are unfortunatly leaked already by the WEB c*nts around the net, but that doesn't mean i won't support this now!!
Let's start of with the original:

Samples made by me and contains 2 minute previews:

Darren Tate - Echoes [09:03m]

This is my favourite of the two, and it's a monster! Huge bassline and some very nice exotic female vocal snips. The break is just beautiful (as you can hear in the sample) I can imagine the hype around this track! Nothing else to say really.

My score: 8.0

Darren Tate - Chori Chori [07:51m]

To be honest i don't really feel this track. Some of the same elements as in Echoes, but think it's a bit too slow to my liking. Hehe can't really see why Armin spins this one instead of Echoes. Again the bassline is really well made! Synths and pads are also ok, but i miss some kinda climax. It just plays like 6 minutes the same thing. Not bad at all,, but i definitely prefer Echoes!

My score: 7.0

Final Score: 7.5! thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Nice review mate, i agree Echoes is immense not to bothered about Chori Chori though

Keep the reviews coming

I'm the same opinion as Nick, both tunes are very similar, but Chori Chori is just chilled to freeze. And boring to tears.
But Echoes is just a huge piece of trance, I enjoy it a lot!
