Mash up party stronghold Chew The Fat are proud to announce their summer activities for 2007, kicking off with a summer-long residency at one of the best clubs in the world Space, as well as hosting arenas at three MASSIVE UK festivals Chew The Fat are on a big cuddly mission to bring their mash up party spirit back firmly into the public’s eye!

In just under ten years Chew The Fat! Have established themselves as the best no hold barred mash up party night in London from its humble beginnings at The Bug Bar in Brixton to their highly successful offshoot record label Fat! A monthly residency at one of the UK’s best clubs - The End, worldwide club tours AND an international DJ agency Chew The Fat! Have been at the forefront of breakbeat / mash up pressure since the Fat! Boss Mr Paul Arnold first discovered the sound.

Following several years of infiltrating house music’s stronghold, Ibiza Chew The Fat! are proud to announce their summer long residency at one of the greatest clubs in the world: Space, each week beginning June 17th our favourite mashed and screwed night will host every Sunday in the Red Box at the legendary 22-hour Sunday session that is ‘We Love…Space 07’

Aptly titled ‘We Love…Space 07’Fat! boss Paul Arnold, Jem Precision Cuts and Unique 3 will be leading the carnage at this marathon session beginning the first ever residency for a breaks / mash up night on the devils Island. Jem played Space last summer and the clubs’ owner was so impressed with his set he invited Jem, Paul & Unique 3 to become summer long residents in 2007!

The launch party on 17th June will feature Ozzie break--housers Hook n Sling who jet in especially to Join Paul & Jem, expect ‘The Bomb’ to be dropped alongside many more errrr ‘Fat love bombs’ throughout the summer leading breaksters Merka, Tayo, The Rogue Element, Trailer Trash resident Hannah Holland, Soul Of Man and Dom Kane plus many more still TBC will be jetting into the infamous party island, playing records and no doubt representing breaks by getting completely shredded and being last seen hugging trees around the back of the club.

Now for us poor folk in Blighty who are not planning to spend a week ramming pills down our throat and not sleeping whilst avoiding moody Italians and generally getting sunburnt Chew The Fat! care about you! Not only will there be the monthly club events at The End but Chew The Fat! Are set to host MASSIVE arenas at three of the UK’s coolest new dance festivals: Wildchild Outside, Antiworld 070707 and Bloom Festival.

Wildchild ‘Outside’ takes place on Saturday 30th June in London’s trendy Shoreditch and Chew The Fat will be representing with a killer line up featuring none other than the Plump DJs, a live set by Hybrid, Freq Nasty, Tayo, Rogue Element & Tom Real, Soul Of Man, Jay Cunning and Fat’s very own Paul ‘Cuddly’ Arnold, Kid Blue and Merka.

Second stop Hertfordshire for the mighty Antiworld 070707 featuring a killer line up Chew The Fat dish out the beats on Saturday 7th July featuring an awesome line up including Pendulum DJ Set, Freestylers, Drummatic Twins, Madox, Aquasky, Paul Arnold, Kid Blue, Merka, Blim, Unique 3, Boabinga & ID and many more… too spicy for you? I think so.

Your last chance to catch the Fat! vibes outdoors this summer will be at Bloom Festival which takes place in an idyllic national trust park located outside of Bristol where Evil 9, man of the moment Sinden, Tayo will headline amongst The Rogue Element, Hannah Holland, Mash The Bandit, Baobinga + Fat! Residents: Paul Trouble Arnold, Merka and Kid Blue.
