IEMF – Music makes me be
IEMF is going to be organized for the first time this year. This event is supposed to muster up the whole palette of Hungarian electronic music. Coupled with a Guinness record attempt, about 500 disc jockeys are going to spin their discs ranging from our little country’s finest to guest stars from abroad for 4 days, each of which representing the 4 seasons.
Seasons are going to have special significance. As we get from spring to winter, beats are going to be harder and harder. 2 open-air stages and 2 indoor stages are going to be set up and will take care of party people, who will surely find the most suitable styles for themselves. Uniquely in Hungary the setting and the lights are constantly going to change representing the four seasons. Having waken up each day in your tent, or having regenerated yourself at home, you will find yourself in another world after your nap. Let’s see which are the styles that are going to appear on this event:
On the bigger one of the open-air stages FUNKY-HOUSE, HOUSE, TRANCE and PROGRESSIVE are going to make you wild.
The other open-air stage is going to be the hide-out of the lovers of GOA. The toughest nature-loving fans of goa can enjoy their beloved style for 4 days on an almost 1000 hectare large grassy area…
One of the indoor stages, a 1700 square metre large hangar is expected to be a perfect place for TECHNO freaks. On the opening day, spring, ELECTRO is going to be the dominant genre. Summer is going to be the season of a style more and more popular among party people, MINIMAL. Getting harder and harder, autumn is going to bring you a cathartic feeling with CLUB TECHNO. Finally, winter is going to be for the hardest freaks of all, for the fans of HARD TECHNO.
The other indoor arena is going to represent some, to each other similar, styles. The first day is going to be the day of DRUM&BASS fans. As summer arrives, lovers of BREAKBEAT and DUB are going to BREAK into heaven. A relatively new style, HARDSTYLE is going to show up in the autumn. Winter is going to be the season of the wicked, because HARDCORE is not as popular in Hungary as it used to be a few years ago, but our intention is to bring together all those party faces who were the hardliners in those old times to show what a real hardcore party used to be in its golden age.
This event is going to be totally different than anything previously organized in Hungary. The Guinness record attempt is going to be in the category of ”the most DJs on an electronic music event.” There are going to be points in time during these four days, when 10 DJs are going to spin their beloved vinyls on the main stage.
10% of all income of the festival is being donated to Children’s Cancer Fund by the organizers.
The place where it is going to be held will definitely give the feeling of a festival to this event. Farkashegyi airport which is near the capital of Hungary, Budapest, is expected to be perfect for your having a good time, mainly because it has untouched natural circumstances and its infrastructure can be called flawless too.
From now on DJs from all around the world are expected to show up who would like to participate or show their talent on this event. Be a part of this Guinness record attempt and help us break the momentary record.
Your applications should be sent to ie-mf@hotmail.com e-mail address.
