Big game is almost here. Predictions anyone?

sad.gif I think Chelsea were lucky. The only clear chance they made they put away. We were unlucky on a few decisions. But it was a dull Final. Oh well we won the Premiership biggrin.gif

Not a great game, and disappointed that it was the second FA Cup Final in a row where United were the better side and lost both times. A very good claim for a penalty in extra time when Essien slid on Giggs but sometimes you do not get those decisions when you need them.

Van Der Sar was poor, like he has been for the past few months. He was so slow trying to come out and close Drogba down on the goal. I think Ben Foster should be United's number 1 next season.

I might get flack for saying this, but Cristiano Ronaldo was abysmal. Yet again, like in Milan, in the biggest games of them all, he goes missing. You cannot class Ronaldo as a great player until he produces the goods in the biggest games. Take Drogba for example, great season, scored the winning goal in both cup finals for Chelsea.

In a strange way, I am happy for Mourinho that Chelsea won. People can say what they want but if he leaves English football it will be a massive blow. He is a great character and while he may come out with a lot of crap at times, as a person he has a very humble side.

I cannot be too harsh though, United have had a fantastic season and worked so hard to win the Premiership. The best team does not always win cup finals, but the best team does win the league.

Before the game my prediction was 0-0 after extra time with Man U winning on penalties. Now I wish it had gone that way as we might have had a little bit of excitement in the game!

Roll on the divisional play-off finals where we'll have some teams involved who actually give a s**t about playing a Wembley I reckon smile.gif

BIG well done to chelsea yesterday for winning the FA cup, all that money spent (50 million and beyond) during summer 06 much seem so worthwhile after lifting the FA cup & the Carling cup. lol. 123groovey.gif 123groovey.gif Maybe next season Mourinho you can win somthing that justifies the money chelsea spends!!!! laugh.gif
