hehe well somewhere a long the lines, drinking was involved in the tradition of St. Patrick's Day. I know there are some here that don't
drink, so was just wondering what you think of the day and whether you even go out or not

edit: my irish mates would break down from confusion i think if there was no alcohol on the day tongue.gif so i voted for no

These days it's just really an excuse to drink Guinness all day and get hammered!!

I was actually ill this weekend, so yes, that's one way to do it biggrin.gif

However, I'm planning to get doubly-drunk on St Georges Day to make up for it!

Yes, im English i couldnt give a s**t about St Patricks day.

All you end up seeing is loads of English people celebrating the Irish national day wearing stuid guiness hats.

Then when it gets to St Georges day they go home and watch tv.

I drank on saturday but it had nothing at all to do with St Patricks day.

I agree with u mate as it seems everyone "celebrates" St Patrick's Day but not their own patron saints day!!

i think the irish were probably the only ones to have really bothered making a night out of it. since the day has pretty much been
established as a piss up, i guess everyone just hopped on and joined the party!
PegaSus
