Trip
I got on the train at 12:30 pm and it wasn’t good in the beginning. There were no free seats in the carriage. Luckily at next station I found 2 seats so I could sit down with my mate who just joined me. After 10 minutes at next stop 4 mates got on the train and our whole group gathered in one place.
About 4 pm everyone of us had his own seat, but another problem arose. We were out of beer already so we started looking for it. We wanted to buy it at the stop but the train was late, so we couldn’t leave it for a longer time risking that we wouldn’t see it again. After all we bought beer from a guy in other carriage.
I also accompanied my mate to get to the last carriage to buy cigarettes. We both were so bored after going through all those crowded passages that we decided to find another way back. As soon as the train stopped we jumped out and ran ahead to get into our carriage before the train would start moving. It must have been a funny scene to watch. No more adventures after that, in the train of course wink.gif
At 6 pm we arrived at Poznan and we were trying to find the way to Arena Hall. Firstly we took a wrong tram, then we couldn’t find an address of girls apartment. Finally we managed everything, found the room and bought some vodka. While girls were preparing in the bathroom we drank our cola flavored drinks. When girls joined us we all raised our cups to a great party.
While going to Arena Hall it was so freezing that one mate started to feel badly. We wanted to get to the Hall as fast as possible.

The Arena at last! We went through quick search and woohoo we are in. We left our jackets in cloak-room and moved to the dance floor.

Event
9 pm
We mixed with the crowd and did a little warm-up before Sander. I looked around the Arena and took first pictures inside. I don’t even remember what tunes were played I was so excited.

Sander van Doorn
9:30 pm
Sander appears on the stage and spins remix of classic King Of My Castle. Nice track to start, it was trying to say hey don’t stand still there! Quick transition and Hard Dub of WYN comes in! Wooo my favorite track of past few weeks. Beautiful guitar lead and the bassline filled the whole place. People start jumping and Sander pitch up the tempo. He doesn’t spare us anymore, tech-trancers have begun. Access wasn’t my tune but I fully enjoyed Direct Dizko. I took a breath during next track and prepared my arms for true trancer Close Horizon \o/ It works soo good live! Ok enough for waving, tech mix of Analog Feel starts. The crowd goes mad during the break. Bang bang and real roof breaker shows up – Control Freak. People loved this one. Next track is omg, Needle Werk. I cumulated such a mass of pure energy during the break that I danced my ass off when the track kicked back. Give a break Sander! tongue.gif But noo, he didn’t stop banging. Later I even didn’t know when each track started or ended. I must say Sander shook the whole place and turned it upside down. He closed his blowing set with Are You Fine to cool us down a bit. Even though I didn’t hear Grasshopper I loved the whole set.

Armin van Buuren
12:35 am
I entered the hall just as Armin showed up with fireworks and I missed the intro with heartbeat. The dance floor was full so it was hard to get to the front this time. I don’t remember all tunes Armin played and I can’t remind them because the first hour of his set wasn’t broadcasted.
Anyway, he starts slowly and the visualization is very simple. A movie is showed on the screens and few lights are blinking. But not for long … After breakdown Armin starts jumping and the crowd follows him. Finally something is happening and YearZero comes in \o/ Nice red flames on the screens light up the stage. Before 1 am lasers were turned on for the first time. Armin’s logos appear on the screens, Armin himself communicates with the crowd and the visualization becomes beautiful.
At 1 am the show began. The climax of Louder was one of the most stunning moments ever. Armind icon flying on screens, all 10 lasers moving around and flames burning the stage. Wow it was amazing! Well, it wasn’t huge comparing to Sensation White but the atmosphere was better. Standing below the stage, hearing Jennifer Rene’s voice, watching lasers and then feeling the heat from the flames on your body ohh .. Ok, I’m still there smile.gif
Show keeps on going and then breakdown of Aria Epica begins. Purple and red lights everywhere, big lasers, the crowd starts claping with Armin. Boom! Everybody is jumping. Next is Ascent, Armin thanks and bows to the crowd, my tear drops. I didn’t have to wait for another breathtaking moment. 3 great tracks in a row: Communication, Firefly and Carabella. Armin was enjoying Communication as much as we all did. Then beautiful melody by Mike Foyle, I fell in love with that track. And the third, one of the few uplifters I enjoy – Carabella. Arms were in the air every break \o/
Later Armin started playing harder. A pity he played Mac Zimms Remix of Take Me Away, I don’t like it that much. Heading to the end of the set he spins boring Sail and surprisingly mashup of beautiful Satellite. I forgave Armin everything. biggrin.gif The last track … Love You More. I would like to hear Burned With Desire instead but I don’t complain. I’m surprised he didn’t spin Future in the end, you can hear it everywhere these days.
In conclusion I enjoyed the set a lot. Well, I should say Armin’s performance. He is amazing. He was rising his hands, clapping and dancing all the time. And I almost forgot, he was jumping with Polish flag during one track. Great to watch! Of course technically he didn’t disappoint.

By the way, I went to buy water and energy drink during those tech tracks so I was well prepared for Markus.

Markus Schulz
3:05 am
I didn’t took many pictures during Markus set because firstly I didn’t have much free memory in my camera, and secondly I wanted to focus myself mainly on the music.
So there he is, the man of the night, Markus Schulz!
Markus opened his set with some short Intro Cut of Louder and then mixed it straight to Another You, Another Me. No useless breaks here, my legs just keep on moving. I really liked the next track. Nice melody and sweet vocals with the hard beat hooked me up. After second break YearZero comes again. I didn’t stop dancing this time, the camera was still in my pocket. Later I heard Without You Near vocals to my surprise. I didn’t know that remix but it worked good on the dance floor. The next track, Playmo just speaks for itself. The ground was shaking and I danced real hard. I always wanted to hear it on huge sound system. Then Simulated breaks in and it reminded me Sensation White. I calmed down a little but emotions didn’t drop. Suddenly lots of confetti fell down from the roof. Great moment, I didn’t expect something like that. After taking all those papers out of my shirt I continued dancing. Good danceable mashup was followed by Venus. I love that groovy bassline and the lead melody \o/
Powerful Megashira warmed the whole hall later and I danced my ass off again. It’s another track that sounds great live. I didn’t pay much attention to the next two tracks, however the first deep bassline is a killer. Then I Am started and Markus put his hands in the air. It's a nice track and it is still growing on me. After that 5 moved the crowd, nothing special for me though, I find it rather overrated. I slowly started feeling tired but tunes kept me on the road and I awoke at Future. The reason I like Markus Remix so much is the way it slowly builds up the tension and releases it as the track kicks off - quality.
It was almost the end of the show and Markus spins Without You. Nice melody with breathtaking break and the beautiful guitar. Wow that track really cheered me up. The outro played along and I thought it was over. It became quiet and only beat could be heard. But I was wrong another beat was coming in. When I heard characteristic sound I was amazed. OMG it’s Panta Rhei !! I thought Markus forgot about it because he didn’t play Red Sky either. But how he could not play Polish track in Poland … Well, he is a genius! The way he mixed the last track is class. Wooo finally the tune kicked off and Markus raised Polish flag to the air, it was a wonderful view. Lovely breakdown starts, people whistle and clap their hands. My heart beats faster and faster. Bam! The final melody comes in! \o/ Pure ecstasy, If I only could I would just rise to the air. Panta Rhei has beaten them all!
At the end Markus walked down from the stage and signed autographs but I didn’t even notice that. I went to take a seat and then enjoyed Angelo Mike set from the audience.
And that's all.

Final Thought
It was an awesome event. I have never danced so hard before. I felt pain in my feet for 3 days but it was worth it. The sound level was very good. Not quiet, not too loud. No buzzing in the ears next day.
I hope you all had a nice read.
I would like to thank all my mates for a great time during trip, and inside and outside the Arena Hall. You rocked! Greets to Julia, Ewa, Krzysiek, Marek and Marcin. Hope to see you again soon.
Big thanks to Marek for sharing his pics.

Btw, no drugs were used before or during the party and even during writing this review smile.gif
