I don't think any style will dominate at all, but expect to hear more epic trance that is already known to be released.

techno is a lot more versatile a genre, and i think that theres a lot
more than can be done with it at the moment than with uplifting trance,
so i voted for tech trance

It will stay as varied as it has been over the last year or so as a lot of DJ's are now experimenting with different styles and developing their own sound which can only be good for the scene and for me personally thats great because i like different styles of trance for different situations.
I am just hoping that the clubs over here can start to vary their lineups a bit more, if i have to see Judge Jules and Eddie Halliwell on the same night again ill top myself.
Anyway thinking ive gone a bit of point here so ill just go with varied.
edit:
BTW Ki just thought id say this is a quality poll, very interesting results.

I think the electro influence will have a big impact on trance this year. I certainly hope it is as varied as it was in 2006, but yeah...electro trance is gonna be big imo. Sander Van Dorn is flying the flag in that style too.

if everything goes well it should remain varied. hate to see one style dominate the industry then there is no real appeal to the sounds trance.

Id love to see more epic/melodic trance, but I think it's all been done.
Id just love for something totally new to come up. When I first heard jungle way back, it was the freshest sounding thing I ever heard. And then I noticed that parties with a trance side room would be pulling me in more and more often until I completely gave up on jungle/d'n'b as the sound grew stale, and trance at that time was like nothing I had ever heard before.
Who knows......
Maybe it was just youth and I'll never find a genre that will capture me the way trance once did. But I'd love to hear something completely different come up again.
How about "anti-progressive facial mashup" as the title for this new and yet unreleased genre?

i don't know, the sound of prog trance for me is going by pretty quickly. andy moor, david west and others just dont seem to have anything
really outstanding to offer FOR ME personally.
