its a little rasist, but its mostly just ignorance and the fact they are all scum twats

jade is a bully. simple as that. even last night her argument with shilpa was fair enough, shilpa had lied, but jade showed the presice way to not explain to someone they are incorrect. shouts her mouth out, uses language i was embarresed about, and generally looked a complete bullying tit. and the 2 muppets laughing along with her displayed a complete school playground feel to it.

shocking. but no i wouldnt use the race card too much in it all. they simply cant handle the fact shes a beautiful clever woman, who is from a completely different background to them. and who is also clever at playing a victim i think.

no. the show is there to show up confrontations like this. its why its watched. to see how people handle other people.

Yes. Not because of the row but because the whole format has gone stale IMO

No, as they have nothing to apologise for.

I don't think she is racist. Yes they have picked on her accent, but we do that to the french all the time, and we aren't considered racist. And yes her attempt at her surname was a big mistake.

But Big Brother made her, and I feel it has probably finished her as well. She will need a good spin doctor for this one.

She had nothing to gain by going in, probably the biggest mistake she has made. But what goes around comes around. And bullying is wrong.

What makes me laugh though is that this thing goes on every day in every school in the country. Teachers ignore it, and its getting worse. But what happens about that?

I really think bullying needs to be tackled a lot harder. I think we have all been apart of some kind of bullying, and on the receiving end, and experience and maturity shows you why you don't do it. But obviously Jade hasn't got to that point yet though.

I missed the entire controversy because I stopped watching in protest as soon as Jade walked in. I detest her with a passion I usually reserve only for traffic wardens. She makes me want to throw things at the TV.

Regarding the row though, it was always the producers' fault. They edit down 24 hours of footage each from 30 cameras to make about 30 mins of show footage per evening, if that. They knew that they'd screwed it up by letting the hateful cow in there at all, because the three most interesting housemates all ran screaming to the hills. So controversy was the only possible way to save the show.

Channel 4 have even admitted as such in the news today, which to me is the most surprising development of the series so far. It's true! I almost puked when they said they were "proud that the controversy has raised the profile of the issue" or some such bollocks.

Shilpa got 300K for the show and now everyone in England knows who she is, just when she wanted to leave Bollywood and start a career in the western cinema industry. Funny that. But she'll have to win, in order for Channel 4 to save face, hence why I'm sure the show I no longer watch anyway is being un-subtly edited in her favour now.

Just like how Pete had the show edited in his favour after the Tourettes controversy. And like how Nadia had the show edited in her favour after the trans-sexual controversy.

The only good thing to come of all this really is that now everyone else now seems to hate Jade as much as I do. Which is hilarious

big brother has just become too cheap a form for entertainment now.

Well suprise suprise on who won. But did she win because she was the most interesting, or because people felt sorry for her??

Oh well, it has made bbc news, which is good for the producers of the show.

I can't see it ending anytime soon, or at least the viewer ratings are still high.
