Hey all, I have bought tickets for this years TE, however i have no idea how to get to utrecht and where to stay.

I will be flying to amsterdam, so what would be the best way to get to utrecht from amsterdam? Also how long does it take to travel and roughly how much is it going to cost?

In addition, can any1 name some good cheap hostels/hotels in amsterdam (prefably near the clubs/red light district) and in Utrecht (near the jabbas convention centre)

Thanks in advance for every1s help, and prepare to dance!!

the best way to get to utrecht centraal from amsterdam is via the intercity trains. they're impossible to miss when u get out from the airport. it takes about 30mins or less. and it'll cost you about 6.40 euros, single trip, 2nd class fare.

more info : http://www.ns.nl

and jaarbeurs utrecht is about 5 mins walk away from utrecht centraal.

as for hotels/hostels, i hope the dutchies will be able to help u.... unsure.gif

Best is to take an Intercity express train from Schiphol to Utrecht Central and then take a 'Weekend Retour'.
Wich means you can travel to Utrecht on Saturday and take the same train back to Schiphol on Sunday without paying another ticket smile.gif
