In Poland lives 7 millions unhappy young peoples... rest live live in UK (they are happy)
What do you think about polish people which migrated to your country?
My friend live in Newark & he says that english people are cool!
It's sad thet we must leave our families & friends to go to England (Ireland, Scottland, Spain, Germany)to live normal. Poland is weird country...weird president (asshole),weird premier (president's brother- asshole too). Young peoples don't want to live in this country.
sorry for my english...i hope you understand

Well we don't mind skilled workers coming into the country to help combat a skills cap in the economy. However there are a lot of people coming over and finding they can't get jobs here, and then just find themsevles with no money, job or home, and then they join the already large number of people living on the street.
And also any money polish people make in England then goes back to poland. Thats great for the polish economy, but awful for our economy, as if you don't spend your money you earn in our economy back in the our economy, it can force us into a recession.

I don't mind there being a lot of Polish people in England but then again I'm slightly biased because I'm 2nd generation half polish myself

Everywhere you go in England, no matter what city you're in, you can hear Polish voices when walking past people.

You're forgetting about the Poles who actually decide to stay in England. There's quite a lot of them, I know a few myself, and they're doing really well. Any money they earn, they're happy to 're-invest' in the UK economy because it's the UK economy which gave them the chance in the first place

one of the best ways to get richer is to start your own company...
it's quite simple imo...
the more companies the country has, the richer the bosses become, the more they can invest (in staff etc.) the more they can grow, the more people at work etc. etc.
in fact the people that are necessary to build up the country leave to find work elsewhere
Maybe it's interesting to read about mr Keynes, a very good economic man

Yeah ok, not all money goes out, heh.
Also the UK is now one of the most densely populated countries in the world.
The only concern I have is that UK workers will be unable to get jobs due to foreign workers taking these jobs. Reminds me of a south park episode, heh.
However It is good that polish workers expect less money which helps bring down some of the crazy amounts expected by builders, etc for a days work. Plus the work is normally to a higher standard, and done quicker.
I still feel it would be better to develop polland however, than losing all their skilled workers to develop our economy.

I think the Poles are the most friendly of the east europeans I have made quite a few Polish friends they all integrate well and have a good sense of humor, and they like their tunes also.
They dont think we should all be under sharia law either

i know Poles who earn only £100 a month so it's understandable why
they're coming over here.
Polish economy is quite frankly f**ked, you work for an hour and you
can't even afford a mcdonalds meal, thats just putting it into perspective.
I count myself lucky being a Pole being born and raised in England,
my cousin needs to come to work in summers just to be able to stay at
university, as him working in Poland wouldn't even cover the fees.

Good thread, at last something resonable.
Well, I'm moving to England (most probably) as fast as possible, but it will take a couple of yers from now, so much might change.
Anyway, I'm not going to gather strawberries or sth, but students in Poland can hardly find any job, simple builder earns more than, let's say, 'average' specialist.

Many of those cases are people who can hardly speak english, so... can you imagine that?! It's good for joke, not for work.

Anyone who says well i can earn 6x more an hour. Yes that maybe true. But what is the average house price in poland? Average house price in England is now over £120,000.
And petrol will cost you 10p a mile. So fair enough come over here and earn more money, but it will cost you a minimum of £50 a week to rent a small bedroom.

I don't mind that the Polish people come to our country.
They want to work and they do work.
The 'mother' of one of my best friends is Polish.
Only problem what I got with those people is, as mentioned before, they can't understand a word Dutch

ita great they can come and have a better life for sure. you cant blame them. whateve rthe extra cost of living is, they earn it back on wages. and the fact they arnt used to a better life means they dont spend the silly money on uneeded things that us uk people are used to.
that said, its a shame that all the british people who work in trades that the polish are now coming over and getting into are finding it harder to get work in, and that have to reduce their costs to compete and therefor their own life becomes affected
its a hard one tho cos people comming over and charging less are not wrong. they are just unfortunatly affecting people who are used to what they were earning.

I have made a couple of very good polish friends that i worked with for 2 years and we are like family now and i trust them more than some of my longest standing friends, the polish have a great nature and are very funny, they are quite similar to brits in many ways and they love EDM and they know how to party

The only thing that angers me is the tides of foreign, as it is not just polish, that are bumming the country and abusing it. Coming here to doss about basically and its these that are getting the bad name for the genuine people that come here to work and make a life for themselves. My polish friends are angered by this too as they see these types as getting them a bad name and somewhat hindering their own chances of a peaceful normal life as they feel they will be looked down upon over the actions of these layabouts.
Im all for having people come here who are skilled and have something to offer but i do disagree with the masses that work solely to send money home as this, as someone has stated, is not good for our economy. if they come for the sake of coming then bum around else where.
Australia, even though it is out there on its todd in the middle of nowhere

, if im right in thinking has very strict guidlines on immagration and its a success, i think this should be looked at carefully by our government and take heed.

Polish are on the way home. Their currency is getting stronger while ours gets weaker so they are off home. Its swings and roundabouts. This country was built on immigration so why try and deny it.
