Just got back after watching the united match at Old Trafford. Not a brilliant performance from united, but 3 headed goals is good enough.

Saha had a crap game, but still got a goal, which shows how valuable he is to united. He just needs to get involved.

Teams from the same country cannot be drawn out against each other in the first knockout phase, regardless if they finished 1st or 2nd in the group.

It will be an interesting draw, the teams to avoid from the second pot would be Barcelona and Real Madrid, I would be happy enough if United got anyone else.

Fingers crossed united play with the same drive and urgency they showed after Benfica scored last night for the rest of the seaon.

I think we can take Real Madrid, they've been mediocre in this season's competition so far and it would be good to dump Van Nistelroy out of the competition biggrin.gif It's Barcelona I'm worried about

Indeed, Madrid have been poor this season. I wouldnt mind if Liverpool drew them. Thankfully we dont play Lyon tongue.gif That team looks dangerous and i got a feeling they gonna go far this year wink.gif

yeh I back Lyon to reach the semi-finals this season, they're a quality side. Otherwise, all the other traditional powerhouses have been mediocre; Barcelona, Real, Bayern, AC Milan. I reckon we could see some surprise results in the last 16
