Full Version: Popup Virus

Sometimes, not always, when I enter the forum I get this pop-up, or in this case pop-under. It always slows my pc hugely down untill I can finaly click it away (which takes rather long cause my pc is slowed). Iīve had this problem twice now and each time this pop-up apeared, my Virus-scanner notified me that a virus had been found. I canīt remember the name or location of the virus but Iīve made a printscreen of the pop-up.

Not sure if you can do anything about it but I thought itīd be better if Iīd let you know wink.gif

I apologise for any inconvenience, but obviously advertising is essential for the running costs of the site. However sometimes problems like this can occur, and usually once reported the issue is resolved quickly.

Wow. Maybe you should install proper programs to protect your PC then. Never had any problems with the pop-ups.

I think he has a valid reason to complain. We would not want to be driving away users of the site with harmful pop ups. I will have to review the current company, as they seem to allow problems like this to often.

I have quite a good anti-virus program and it removed the virus, but I just wanted to report it so that it would not affect the users who havnīt got such a program wink.gif

I also reported it on the link you posted fly smile.gif
