Just thought i would update you on the current site news.

We have just paid £640 for another year on the current server. An excellent price. Thank you to everyone who has donated and used our sponsored ads.

We can now sit back and enjoy another year of fast page loading and reliable service.

We have also now sold over 2000 tracks via our legal download store. Thats brilliant for both us and the industry.

If you would like to sign up as a paid member and gain access to even more downloads please read the paid member thread in the announcement sub forum.

Thank you to everyone who makes this website and forum what it is. We are looking into the possibility of buying a brand new download server with 4 terabytes of bandwidth a month. So keep your eye out for a donation drive

UKTA going from Strength to Strength

i know the site is my first port of call for downloads

Just an update on some website stats if anyone is interested.

On average we get about 7,000 unique visitors a day, and a quarter of a million hits.

Last month we had 79,222 unique visitors, and we had 7,696,512 hits.

At peak 9,000 people visited us in one day last month. With over 400,000 hits.

Stats include visitors to both forum and website.

Heh, yeah, but unfortunately its the leechers that pay for the site

Our hosting provider has finally fixed the problems. So we can now progress with setting up the new forum.

However we may need to spend another £100 on buying a license key for our server control panel. Its looking like an expensive year.

That would bring the total up to £850 just for the server and forum costs that we have spent in the last 2 months.

I'm currently now looking into buying a download only server with 2 terabytes of bandwidth allowance a month for £350 a year. That would mean we could setup a large collection of dj mixes for download, only available via our website.
