Ever considered having a 'Thank you' feature? I think djmixes.net has one, just so the author can see that people appreciate their upload? Just a thought!

This will just encourage leechers to visit the site. It takes you less than 5 minutes to type thank you so i dont think its much of an effort to do it

not saying i like the idea, but i see something in it....which will be too difficult to make, i guess


Make a button "Sorry I didn't like, so didn't leech" which directs back to the mixes index again and counts the "No" things so people don't get mad they don't get not enough replies

I see your points, but I don't you understand what it is, its not a button that makes post after post after post just saying 'thank you' for the people that can't be arsed to write anything, its just one post underneath the original that says, like '4 people have said thank you' then lists their names. You'd still get all the normal people posting and saying thanks, but perhaps the ones that just download and dont say anything are more likely to do it. It seems to have happned that way on Djmixes.net.
Anyway, its not popular so I'll shut up.....

all suggestions are good So now i understand the idea it is a good one. However i dont think i can get it for this version of forum software unfortunately.

Also we post 1.4 gigs of trance on paid servers. Not free crap ones. And we get millions of downloads. But we dont get anywhere near that many people saying thanks.

We do it to share the music we love, and to educate people. Not for people to say thank you
