The label itself is focused at all kind of Trance music, such as progressive uplifting or tech trance. Also different kind of label nights are planned for the future like on July and August! Also the new founded label is a good chance for many unknown producers to get their traxx signed since Intuition recordings is still looking for fresh talents.
First of all a small introduction about the label and who is doing what.
Fundamental recordings is doing all the administration and liscensing stuff, also they press the vinyls. Paul focuses a bit more on the design tasks involved in the label, and Menno organizes the label nights and events. Also both are working together on the website and promote the label + the releases.
Sublabels are currently not planned but might be added some day depending on what artists and traxx they got signed. The first signed Artist is Jonas Steur. The young producer from Belgium will release his first Vinyl around May with traxx like Castamara and Silent Waves on it. A small preview about the vinyl u will find at part 2 of this report.
Menno told me as well that there might come an collaboration of Paul and him and also maybe an Artist album in 2006. But its nothing fix yet so u just need to be patient
.Now lets leave some words about the next release!
Jonas Steur who is also known under the name Estuera will release with Castamara / Silent waves his first vinyl under his real Name. The track silent waves has a typical Ibiza flair like "Tales from the south" once had. An uplifting bassline with a sweet melody in the background and a chilling break.
Castamara is a bit faster and more uplifting also the big break of almost 2 min is pretty cool.
In conclusion i would say that both traxx got a nice fresh summer feeling and they stand for the start of the Ibiza clubbing season 2005!
The release of the Vinyl is currently scheduled at early May and the digital release will follow in 2 weeks.
