As I have a lot to say about this event and made about 150 pics of the night, I'll start a new thread
For the 5th time, we (Cellec and me) we're about to visit Trance Energy. At the station we met 2 friends who were going for their first time, so they were quite nervous. We arrived at around 21.15 at Utrecht Central Station and around 21.40 we were inside through the whole security stuff
Walking around to check all the stages, the first thing we noticed was that the Madhouse stage and Armada stage were switched (as we look to last years TE). Madhouse stage had a nice big wall with a lot of yellow light and was of course very clubby decorated. Armada stage was a big circle with a lot of attention to the visuals. We talked with Perry O'Neil, about the evening, if he was nervous and wished him luck for his set!
As we entered the Mainstage, my mouth fell open... damn what a huge change in comparison to last year!!! Superb show, huge stages and a very cool ambiance over there!
Armada

Mainstage

Madhouse

It was 22.00 and we checked out Ronald van Gelderen in Mainstage. All traxx we heard were familiar, in order:
-Armin van Buuren vs Nadia Ali - Who's Watching (Remy vs Klinkenberg remix) _awesome set opener btw
- Markus Schulz ft Departure - Without You Near (G&D remix)
- Mode Hookers - Breathe (SvD remix)
We decided to check Perry, as we promised him to walk by and check his skills

Back to the main, where we checked the end of Ronald and wited for a short stay at the Cor Fijneman vs Mark Norman set

Back to the Armada stage, where Matthew Dekay played really weird, but kinda cool techy prog stuff!

We didn't stay too long coz we wanted to see Above & Beyond! When we entered the main again they were playing "real trance"

The first Live act on mainstage, Ernesto vs Bastian! We were standing almost in front of the speaker, so we could see them very good and damn, they really impressed me! I was waiting for a commercial live-act, but it was damn good! They did of course Dark Side Of The Moon and Who's The Starter and another one, but forgot the name

We stayed in the main for mister Armin van Buuren and glad we did.... damn what a set by Armin

Awesome Lasershows in the Main

Back to Armada, coz Johan Gielen would take over in main
Markus Schulz was spinning and we entered the circle. Right at the moment I said to Cellec, "kinda groovey, right?", the music went nuts and we really enjoyed Markus' set which contained Dogzilla - Without You (Dub)
Back to Main, where we wanted to see Push Live.... well, that was really dissapointing... Sound sucked, one speaker was plopping, the drummer wasn't even live performing and some things just didn't work out... He did play Universal nation, Strange World and The Legacy, but I didn't really feel the power coming from the stage.... pity

Madhouse Lasershow

We stayed for a while to check Marcel Woods, but wasn't really impressed by this guy either.... After a break we went back to see Scott project and closing the night... there was so much space back in the mainstage, we jumped around like crazy dudes! It was an awesome set, the last records were great! First Lethal Industry (some kind of hardstyle remake

So everything in summary:
Dj's I've seen
Ronald van Gelderen
Perry O'Neil
Cor Fijneman & Mark Norman
Matthew Dekay
Above & Beyond
Ernsto vs Bastian LIVE
Armin van Buuren _Best set of the evening!
Markus Schulz
Push LIVE _Worst act of the night
Marcel Woods
Scott Project _Jumped the most here
I got back home at around 9.30 AM and just woke up an hour ago
Kinda cool we met TimHollander, Black Hole, Pinto and V:Drive! Here's our picture which not contains V:Drive and Cellec
