Arguably the two biggest 'BRAND' names within trance music but which do you prefer and why?
Can discuss their club nights, CD releases anything about the two but indicate why you think they are the dominant brand within trance music.

in terms of brand....
5 years ago, Gatecrasher... absolutely no doubt about that
5 years on, i.e. now, Godskitchen

Ive been hearing good things about gods never got into gatecrasher. I think you missed one ultra. That is a major brand imo also sparks a major event yearly.

Godskitchen for me
Main reason:
Jon O Bir is resident dj there and is one of my fav. dj's at da moment and is probably Britains next big trance dj since Oakie

GODSKITCHEN
There definitely producing better CDs now imo
Gatecrasher still do good large events with all the big names so they're on a level par i think in that respect.

one thing Gods hasn't managed to do yet though is build their *own club* unlike Crasher which has

well Northampton is 70 miles from London and Sheffield is 100 miles further North... so Crasher is 30 miles further than London clubs, not too much

exactly,
they also do Global Gathering, more Arena events than Crasher and have not sold our half as bad as Crasher have!
Too be fair ive not been too crasher, but too be honest it is very rare that they have a good night at the weekend these days, except classics..
God's all the way!!

it's true - Crasher is sh*te for trance now. Has one night a month at best. It's turned into a student club with 'cheap drink offers' and sh*te music to get lashed to. It used to be awesome back in the day, 1999 - 2002 sort of time but now Gods has taken over as a brand

Godskitchen wins it, because they have stayed with the dance industry more.
I attended gatecrasher a number of times at sheffield, NEC, and the summer sound system, and they were amazing events, but now godskitchen it leading the way in the industry

the club itself is very smart... 2 swaanky rooms and a very classy lounge area. The clubnights it has, however, are absolutely CACK these days, apart from Nu-Crasher once a month of course
Ive been to Both and U can't Beat Crasher IMO...Although Gods' is obv attracting the Bigger Names............
I ll never forget My nights @ Crasher in the olden Days of Matt Hardwick....Ferry.....1999-2002
