Hello, I am currenly looking for a spyware program which works pretty good. I am currenlty using ad aware but am curious as to which ones everyone else uses and how well they work?

i use webroot spysweeper, and to this date my pc has never given me
any crap. after searching on the internet, it always found at least one
piece of malicious files.

yeah i have heard alot of good things about webroot and was thinking about looking into it.

I totally agree. I have yet to find anything on my system using microsoft antispyware. what a worthless program and waste of space.

Micrsoft is useless but the best program by far is Spybot Search and Destroy. Consumer reports rates as number 1 program to use and it is free and damn good.

Takes forever now with its search for like 35000 different spywares.

Tried Webroot but my PC didnt like it

Now using PC Tools Spyware Doctor

I Used to kill spywares with Webroot Spy Sweeper, but now using Pest Patrol. Faster, accure and the best of all ... biggrin.gif

I run Spybot S&D, Microsoft Anti-Spyware, and Ad-Aware SE.

The only reason I have the Mocrosfot spyware thing is because it offer real-time protection so will catch any trojan trying to install on your comp and best of all it works to. For scans it is s**tty.
