I've been listening to a james zabiela set and its awesome, and i remember that he was great when he played as an opening for sasha at a local club.. does anybody else like zabiela? does he have any decent remixes, productions etc?

James Zabiela = most technically gifted DJ on the decks, you will ever see. The amount of effort, effects, and techniques he has, takes seeing to be believed. He's simply incredible.

the guy is amazing and has come a long way very quickly - I can still remember when he worked in a record store in southampton behind the square balloon - at least i think it was him!

The good news is that we're being treated to an Essential Mix from him during the early hours of Sunday 22nd February. A lot of people I know say they cannot wait to hear this. I've never heard him play before, so I'll be interested to hear what he's like.

James Zabiela isn't either of Royksopp or Dave Brennan. He just remixed tracks by them.

Royksopp is Torbjørn Brundtland and Svein Berge. Dave Brennan is well Dave Brennan.

Zabiela hasn't done any of his own productions thus far, only remixes.

I'm glad Royksopp isn't an alias. That's why I have to get familiar with Zabiela now.
