Full Version: Is Oakenfold Overrated?
I believe he has always been overrated even his older "s**t." He just doesnt know how to mix tracks together(poor track selection). His s**t is whack and so is he.
he's good but he's way to commercialized

Back in the 90's he was the top dj around with the likes of PVD & Tiesto where armin wasnt even around. They all have gone off the boil lately but that doesnt mean he is overrated. Im sure if you listen to his essential mix world tour 99 u would agree wit me.

I have and oakefold is overrated. I want to speak to his advertising agent because he made this guy bigger than what he really is. I will give him this though he does have good productions/ remixes out there, but when it comes to mixing he is whack. Ever heard that song where the crowd starts saying disco sucks well they should replace it with oakenfold sucks!
Have heard a lot of people say heīs overated, but since Iīve never been really into Oakie I canīt really have an opinion about it

Yes, he is overrated but the guy was a pioneer for trance music and one of the people who helped make it popular across the world...
only thing i have against him really is the fact he made that s**te Americanized album Bunkka...utter crap if you ask me!
